Improving ChatGPT’s Word Chain Game (Shiritori) Accuracy

Dear OpenAI Team,

First, I would like to express my gratitude for the continuous improvements and innovations in ChatGPT. The AI is an outstanding tool for various tasks, including logical reasoning, content creation, and communication.

However, there is one particular area where ChatGPT significantly struggles—playing Shiritori (Word Chain Game). Shiritori is a classic Japanese word game where players take turns saying words that start with the last letter of the previous word. While the concept is simple, ChatGPT often fails to follow the correct rules, leading to an inconsistent and sometimes unintentionally humorous experience.

Given ChatGPT’s advanced language processing capabilities, improving its ability to play Shiritori accurately would not only refine its structured word pattern understanding but also enhance its usability in casual and educational contexts. After all, if ChatGPT can discuss quantum physics, shouldn’t it also be able to master a traditional word game?

I sincerely hope that this request will be considered for future improvements.

Best regards,
A dedicated ChatGPT user and Shiritori enthusiast
