Improving accuracy of Calendar prompt understanding

In fact, I struggle to get coherent results out of GPT3.5-turbo at all, sometimes. How did your bot fare in this situation?

GPT3-5 Chat rejects information about calendar until prompted

I am loading calendar information, and passing it as context to GPT. However, it refuses to acknowledge the calendar information, until it is prompted a second time, after which it correctly reads it. Why is this? I suspect that there is some special hardcoding logic happening (similar to the “As an AI language model…”).
