As a user, I want to be able to quickly manage bulk deletion of historical chats. It is common for me to create a new chat for a targeted round of questioning, but I do not have lasting value for these chats. At the same time, I have certain long-running chats I would like better visibility of. Deleting these throw-away chats is tedious in the application because it requires right clicking (or meatball menu selection on mobile), selecting delete, clicking through confirmation screen, then waiting for deletion to refresh the main UI before I can safely proceed to the next thread for deletion (after deleting a chat, the UI will lag and shift items up, so the user has to wait before navigating to another chat deletion).
One way to solve this problem is to enable a “select items for deletion” menu where checkboxes appear for all chats and the user can select as many as they like, then choose a delete option and a single confirmation screen.
