4 days have passed and have not been able to generate anything due to images stuck in queue.
Same Issue, maybe after a thousand people with gpt plus complain, then they’ll fix it?

Below I’ll describe the steps I took that actually helped solve the problem, as well as those that can be skipped (solution at the end).
What didn’t work

Reloading the page — Don’t waste time; it won’t help.

Pressing the stop button — The image generation won’t stop; the button is non-functional.

Deleting all cookies — Seems logical, but it didn’t fix the issue(at least for me).

Using the desktop version of ChatGPT — Also useless; it still gets stuck in the endless loading loop.
The actual solution
This has been mentioned before, but I decided to collect all working suggestions together so you don’t waste your time.

Download the ChatGPT mobile app.

Open the same chat where the bug occurred.

Send any message - literally anything.
Once you do this, the image generation will stop.
So far, this is the only working method I’ve found.
The best solution i found is to branch the chat and delete the old one this stops any unfinished results or images being generated while maintaining the chat as it is
