Sometimes, you want to prompt ChatGPT about something you are discussing with a friend and you don’t want the answer to take your past chats into account (for a more universal and neutral answer) or influence your future chats (as the prompt is not something you are personally interested in).
In a Web browser I would typically open an incognito tab, in Youtube I would turn off my history temporarily to watch a video I don’t want to influence my future suggestions.
In the case of ChatGPT, it would be cool to have a button that would mimic this, a kind of “start fresh and then forget” mode, “Ignore my past”, “Asking on behalf of a friend” or “disappearing” mode.
