If I charge for access to a custom chatbot, should I charge tax?

I’m developing a series of Chatbot Tutors, using GPT-4 on the backend. The Tutors will be available as a paid subscription. Does anyone have insights about charging tax on the subscription?

The choice to charge tax or not is entirely up to you. The choice to pay tax, however, is not.

You are responsible for paying the appropriate taxes in all of the jurisdictions in which your users live.

Thanks, that makes sense. And from searching around, it looks like there are some services like TaxJar and Quaderno that integrate with Stripe and make it easy.
