Feature idea: Persistent AI avatar/profile
Let users give their ChatGPT a persistent name and avatar that appears at the top of the conversation, similar to a contact photo in texting. It would make ongoing conversations feel more personal and recognizable while still clearly being an AI.

Yeah, this makes sense. Having a persistent name and avatar at the top of conversations could make it easier to recognize the ChatGPT setup you’ve personalized over time.
ChatGPT does have some persistent personalization options today, but there isn’t currently a setting for giving the default ChatGPT assistant its own custom name and avatar across regular conversations.
I can’t promise whether or when something like this will be added, but I’ll pass the suggestion along as product feedback.
