Still Not Find History .
Is there any bug in update ?
I lost my all information

I also encountered the same problem but it seems that the conversations is not being displayed but the history is not deleted as i can enter the chat id and see the chat. Anyone have a solution?

im having the same problem till now its been 12 hours for me since this happend

same, its broken they need to fix it asap… Its scary having a conversation that I can’t reference back to, now I have to save everything to a word doc … Sucks…

The solution is easy . go to your chatGBT window and logout then log back in and Voila everything is back and you will see all your previous chats even the ones that you thought they were deleted, you will see them all back. enjoy and have fun :smile:

Same here - login/logout didnt help still not working.

Login/Logout is not working for me. Past chats are gone, and the auto-topic generation in new chat isn’t working.

Edit: Also tried to clear cache, cookies as per a reddit post. Still nothing. It’s frustrating without the context missing.

I guess, they making that as paid feature. I hope not, it affects my education and skill set significantly.

I will not be able to learn anymore if I cannot regenerate. And also cannot refer those answers back.

check your browser history, you should see the named chats in your history, click the one you are looking for. hope this helps. make sure to save all your new chats to notepad files as backups.

Just clear the cache and/or data on your browser. Worked for me.

For now here’s my simple solution: from now on you can copy the whole conversation into other applications. And when you want continue your conversation, start a new chat and tell the chatGPT that you want to go on with the conversation you’re going to paste in the new one.
Log out/in, cookies-cache-cleaning or other methods did not work for me, so just for now I have to do this in an old way.
I hope the Openai team will fix that soon. Wish you guys have the data back.
