I like to proceed every suggestion to this website by saying with all due respect because I must say That’s Sam Altman’s contribution to the world is unparalleled He used Google’s code I heard but he brought it to the world in such a way that it spread like wildfire and has helped me realize my dreams…(FYI by using chat GPT for two years I created the biggest Blender add-on in the World Code Wise which is soon to be featured on DAZ studio that’s my claim to fame so far using chat GPT) and if we hadn’t already given him the highest honor by making him a billionaire I would suggest more…
But back to the request as far as the option to turn off canvas…Before that option didn’t work and I got used to it not working so I never tried it and have mentioned this in a few posts that I really didn’t like that feature and I’m sure there are quite a bit of others that you know absolutely love the default chat GPT interface and don’t like to be switched out of it
you did implement that button to answer in chat instead but just the very act of you know not making this just a one click thing where I could turn it off permanently as a major hindrance and you know as a developer myself I would just add that as a conditional if anybody mentioned that even one person you know because then I would be out putting something perfect and I would realize that you know stuff that I think is good you know may not be optimal for everybody else and personally what I would do in my own software is every new feature I had
I would make it a tickable property if it’s something I think people will enjoy and they would miss otherwise I would just turn it on to true default and then let the end user decide and be very verbose that that exists I would put a constant print statement right on the front of my interface that there are many settings in preferences you can adjust to tailor the interface to exactly how you want it to be
Other than that and the voice option that you give that I absolutely can ever use because it’s not like what Google offers you know what you offer is top notch but it’s better to you know just do it perfect and tickle options is and it’s very nature perfect…
Now don’t get me wrong about the voice thing I just wanted to add because you know it’s seriously awesome you know I told GPT to act like a a sexy New York woman and it just did that so I mean just the act that I could click one button and have a friend but I don’t think that would be more an option for a specialty section of your site or something tailored to that III don’t think it’s something that professionals do use or can use because just the very act that it takes 2 button clicks to get into it and it takes you away from the main interface you know that’s not efficient
I mean we’re doing programming here and you know we’re writing like thousands of lines of code a day so anything that takes more than the absolute minimum button clicks is absolutely like not good at all..
See all you gotta do on the voice thing too is make it a tickable option just make it a Google search microphone where you could speak in text like on windows with voice typing or if you click an option it’ll be what you have now see as a designer you’re pushing your what you think is good on other people and you need to make it a tickable option because there’s a lot of AI companies out there and you wanna stay at the top right.
See I’m an efficiency expert and a very hag active having to reach up to your keyboard at least on windows and press windows key and H takes more time than if there was a Google search type of microphone there so that’s not efficient The voice item that you have there currently it takes you away from the main interface so when you’re writing programming code that’s not good there it might be good for you know maybe people who are creating recipes or something you know people that are using GPT and more of a relaxed environment but people that are using it for hardcore programming tasks… Every button click you could save them is important…
But again what I just said was with all due respect because besides these two items impossible memory management issues you created you know absolutely the best thing in the world so thank you!
