Hello Everyone,
Was just introduced to forums by ChatGPT thankfully. Anyways I did my due diligence and searched for this topic but to no avail, also not sure if this is considered a bug.
I asked chatgpt a simple question, “how many deep research questions do I have left” and it responded with something like “you have 4 deep research left” if i remember correctly. That was about half way through the month and deep research was brand new so I accepted it, sometimes I lose count of the questions I ask and also wasn’t sure if the answer to the clarification questions it asks counts as “deep research questions”. Anyways, a day before my subscription renewed I wanted to make sure I used all my deep research questions so I decided to actually open my laptop and hover over “deep research” to see exactly how many I have left, so I can use the remainder. Keep in mind I wasn’t asking questions for half the month since chatgpt told me I had such little questions left.
After hovering over it on my laptop I find out that I have around 90 questions left to ask before they disappear and don’t roll over into the next month.
Was not too thrilled to see that. I attempted to ask all the questions I have stored in my brain over the month but got capped out after asking around 20 deep research questions in a span of probably 4 hours (I’m estimating).
I say this all to say, the chapGPT mobile app doesn’t have a good way to check for sure how many deep research questions left over and if it does, chatgpt didn’t know about it.
Hopefully we can get a simpler method to check how many deep research questions we have left on the mobile app (IPhone) or at the least, get chatgpt to give you an accurate number if you ask.
Love ChatGPT, can’t wait to see how this all improves over time.
