I decided to add an AI-powered chatbot to my portfolio
Why? Portfolios should be more than static pages. Today’s next-gen portfolios engage visitors by answering their questions instantly and interactively, creating a personalised experience that reflects your skills in real-time.
This chatbot lets anyone ask me about my skills, projects, and experiences making it easier and faster to connect with recruiters, collaborators, or tech enthusiasts who visit my portfolio. It’s like having a smart assistant available 24/7 to share my journey and capabilities.Building it was an amazing learning adventure.
I used React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, styled with Tailwind CSS.
The chatbot uses API integrations from OpenRouter and Deepseek to answer your questions and is trained it on my portfolio data to generate helpful responses. This feature not only boosts user engagement but also showcases the skills I bring to the table in AI and software development.
