I’ve noticed that AI-generated writing is becoming much harder to recognize than it was a year or two ago. A lot of it reads naturally now, so I’m curious how other people approach it.
When you’re reading an article, blog post, essay, or even a social media comment, are there any patterns that immediately make you think it might be AI-generated?
Personally, I don’t think there’s a single giveaway anymore. Things like repetitive sentence structure, overly polished transitions, generic phrasing, or a lack of personal perspective can sometimes stand out, but I’ve also seen plenty of human-written content with those same characteristics.
So I’m interested in hearing how others evaluate it.
Do you rely on writing style, consistency, factual depth, or something else entirely? Or do you think it’s becoming nearly impossible to tell just by reading the text? I’d love to hear everyone’s thoughts and experiences.
