Hi Everyone,
I want to save my conversation (include the programming code) with ChatGPT to files, ex: .docx, .pdf, .html… but when i do that on docx, the text format of the code is very ugly. The pdf print is only work for only 1 page and the code is lost the nice format.

It think there are some browser extensions out in the wild but there is no official export button.

I have just started a request [Export Conversation button - Request](https://community.openai.com/t/export-conversation-button-request/88805)

If you move off the consumer version of ChatGPT (the web site) and write your own version using the OpenAI chat completion API method, you can easily solve this issue.

HTH

I was thinking exactly about this 😃 …but nothing would beat the elegance of a built in functionality.

Is it possible to use the openai api to access the conversations in my consumer account?
