Hi everyone, I’m hoping someone can point me in the right direction on how to recover an Organization that I can no longer access.
What happened
- I was trying to complete Organization Verification, but the dashboard kept saying that my org couldn’t be verified.
- I saw a suggestion in the community that adding another member might help “trigger” verification, so I invited a new user into the org.
- To test that approach, I removed my own account from the original org, leaving only the newly invited account as the only member/admin.
- Verification still did not work.
- The next day, the “unable to verify” message inside the org UI disappeared, but the generated Persona verification link still failed / said the org couldn’t be verified.
- About a minute later, the new user’s account was deactivated (I’m not sure why). Since that user was the only account left in the org, I’m now completely locked out.
Current impact
- I can’t access the Organization at all anymore (it’s essentially “orphaned”).
- I also can’t access anything tied to it, including:
- prepaid balance / credits
- limits tier
What I’m asking
- Is there any way to recover an Organization when the only remaining member is suspended and the previous owner has left?
- Can support re-attach the org to my account, or restore me as an admin if I can provide proof (org ID, billing info, invoices, etc.)?
- If anyone has successfully resolved something similar, what exact steps worked (and what info did support request)?
If a moderator or staff member sees this: I can provide the Organization ID and relevant account details privately.
