I have tried logging out and in, waiting for a long time, reloading the site, everything and my chat history is still not coming back. I have a whole months work in that

Apparently it is because of their server is being overloaded, and it will be solved once the load is decreased.

Judging from the API calls it seems that they are renovating their servers. Weird that they don’t post any news to inform us, but hey, maybe it was a surprise decision. It’s happened to before and the conversations did return.

Always a good idea to have a local backup if these conversations are valuable.

Apparent my history doesn’t show up when I opened ChatGPT on my desktop. But everything it’s normal when I open it from my mobile (iPad/iPhone) devices.

Clear the browser history and login again. : )

Using a private/incognito window solves this for me as does clearing cache.

Today was the first time I got an orange banner to inform me of the situation…Maybe our discussion of 2 weeks ago made them think twice about a solution… I must admit that without the warning it is quite unsettling to experience this the first few times…

I have been working a lot yesterday with the assistant… and having all those tabs open with the fear of turning of the computer or closing the browser by mistake was a bit stressful… I did log out and back in and despite others saying that it is back I still can’t see anything…
