I’m trying to incorporate ChatGPT into my work to increase efficiency. I need to create a highly detailed procedure that outlines how a project goes from the identification phase to detailed design.
The information as to how this happens was presented to me and I have the transcript from this meeting. I’m trying to get chat to generate the procedure for me but it keeps excessively over-summarising everything and removing heaps of relevant information.
I’m hoping some of you far more practiced people than me might be able to provide some prompting advice please. Or perhaps I’m using the wrong engine? I was running it on 4o.
Current prompt is:
“The attached document is a transcript from a presentation where (redacted) outlined the process for developing a (redacted). I need you to convert it into a highly detailed procedure, skipping none of the information provided by (redacted). Avoid summarising or reducing text, don’t create a TL;DR, and don’t extract key points”
I added the last sentence based on a quick google search but it didn’t help at all.
