Hello, I paid for GPT 4, but it stil says 3.5 even though I’m signed in and the payment went through. What is happening???

By “I paid for GPT-4”, do you mean that you added credits to your account, or that you paid for ChatGPT plus?
If you added credits to your account, you might just want to wait a bit until it gets updated.
If you paid for ChatGPT Plus, keep in mind that ChatGPT and the API are two separate products and that paying for a Plus subscription does not give you access to GPT-4 in the API - you still have to add credits to your account.
@monacairoletter have you checked your project settings? Try “allowing” GPT-4 there. This is how you can find that setting: Go to https://platform.openai.com/settings/ > Project > Limits > Model usage > Allow > Select GPT-4

In ChatGPT Plus, the model selection sometimes defaults to 3.5, but the model used is a selection at the top that is easy to discover, which they likely discovered.
