Group Chat with AI for Interactive Conversations

Hi OpenAI team,

I’d like to suggest a feature that could improve the AI chat experience and make interactions more engaging. Right now, conversations with AI are limited to one-on-one chats, but I think adding a group chat feature where multiple users can interact with an AI simultaneously would be a great improvement.

Here are some benefits this feature could offer:

  1. More engaging discussions“ Users could share different perspectives while AI keeps the conversation structured and informative.

  2. Better learning experiences“ This would be especially useful for language learners who want to practice conversations in a more natural setting.

  3. Collaborative problem-solving “ AI could assist in brainstorming sessions, study groups, or even casual debates between friends.

  4. A more social experience“ Conversations would feel less isolated and more like real-world interactions.

  5. Fun and entertainment “ This could make debates, role-playing, or even AI-driven storytelling more interactive and enjoyable.

Personally, I think it would be interesting to have a conversation with my brother and an AI in the same chat since we have different perspectives on things. Seeing how AI navigates multiple viewpoints at once could be really fascinating.

I hope you consider this idea! I believe it could make AI chats much more interactive and enjoyable.
