Exactly, you propose a great point but, one of the greatest weakness of ChatGPT againsts its current competitors is that its premium models are locked behind payment.

I agree that some users are deterred by the pay walls. perhaps if they made it so that even the free plan had access to the latest models, with limited interaction. I think one of the bigger issues is the lack of upgradability for individual accounts though. Going from $20/month for Plus to $200/month for Pro is a cost increase that i think deters many users committed to OpenAI but want more out of it. They need more mid-tier subscription options
