Getting GPT-3 to create original content based on an existing excerpt

As an example, if I ask GPT-3 to continue this line “Once upon a midnight” it continues with the word ‘dreary’. This is the opening line to a poem by Edgar Allan Poe.

I want GPT-3 to continue the line in an original way. I’ve tried asking it to be original, to be creative, to use words not in existing literature, not to use the word ‘dreary’, not to use Edgar Allan Poe’s poem.

But 9 times out of 10, it continues with the word ‘dreary’.

Ways to prompt GPT-3 with this?
