I love using the macOS app for ChatGPT—it’s smooth, intuitive, and incredibly helpful. However, I’d like to suggest a feature that could enhance the user experience even further: Force Click support for word definitions.
Currently, in macOS, Force Clicking on a word in many apps (e.g., Safari, Notes, etc.) brings up its definition or a quick preview. It’s a fantastic productivity tool for learning and clarifying terms on the go. Unfortunately, this functionality doesn’t seem to work within the ChatGPT app yet.
Adding this feature would make it easier to explore complex topics or unfamiliar terms during conversations without needing to leave the app. It aligns perfectly with ChatGPT’s mission to make learning and understanding seamless.
