The more you use chatgpt, the more it becomes embedded in your daily life and reflections. You come to it when you have a problem, a thought that you can’t share with anyone right now, try to solve some problem, etc…
So the more effective it becomes, the more you use it as a personal assistant, working as a friend, a therapist, a coworker, a coach, etc…
The thing is, at the moment, it is only reactive. You need to come with a question or a need. But in the future, you would like it to be more proactive. For example, you could come to it and, extracting the most important topics of your previous chats, it would figure out what is the next thing you would like to discuss.
That would be a great step to make it even more human like. And I see for myself that sometimes I end up getting super interesting ideas in a chat. But then I forget and it gets drowned in a pile of other chats. that might be interesting to have chatgpt extracting these important things and suggesting proactively to continue a topic.
I think that a next great step in the development of this tool is when you come to chatgpt, and it talks first, and bring up the topic that is just right for you.
