I have two tabs of ChatGPT opened, I ran a prompt on one and read through. I went to the other tab and refreshed and it felt weird.
So I went back to the other tab and saw the UI is now using a different weight for text. It’s so light I can’t read it for long. What I’m currently working on create long responses, sometimes with up to 150 header topics. And I have to read it all, because I require a specific level of quality. When I refreshed the tab, the font changed too.
The new font weight is too difficult to read long text with, and copying it out to read somewhere else is just a hassle.
I don’t know if I’m the only one experiencing this
I experienced the exact same thing! Was working in two tabs, ran a prompt and went back and refreshed and it felt weird, checked the other tab and it was definitely different. When I refreshed the second it looked all weird too, I took a screenshot of the second tab before refreshing just to make sure i wasn’t going insane. Nope - they are different.
I don’t like the light text and the UI feels less responsive, usually it breaks down the task as it is doing it and there is almost a feedback loop to me, but now it’s just “Thinking” and only produces the output at the end…
Is this just a theming thing or have they changed the backend as well as the UI?
I’m not a fan. Felt more intuitive and responsive before.
