First time i needed customer service shocking

I’ve been struggling with a workflow setup issue in n8n for over 8 hours with no resolution. When I contacted OpenAI support late last night for help, I received only generic, unhelpful responses that didn’t address my specific problem.

The core issue: My workflow kept returning “insufficient funds” errors despite having credit in my account. OpenAI support claimed there was “no money in account” and referenced “soft and hard budget limits” - but my billing clearly showed available funds.

What I’ve experienced:

  • 8+ hours of troubleshooting with no meaningful support
  • Generic copy-paste responses that ignored my specific setup
  • Misleading error messages about account funding
  • No phone support option available
  • Complete lack of technical assistance for integration issues

Have you checked if your credit grants haven’t expired?

I have added money in the account , and there was money in the accounts .

That’s not enough.

Every time you add money, you gain credit, but this credit (eventually) expires.

There is a date when it expires by the sum.
