Same here for word, pdf, and ppt on a paid subscription. File almost uploads and then fails. Was working fine a couple hours ago. Checked document settings to remove any privacy/security settings but still no dice.

Same here - pretty disappointing as I only forked out for the PLUS subscription today specifically for this task. Hope there’s a fix soon.

We are continuing to investigate reports that file uploads in both ChatGPT and our API products are returning errors for customers.

Same problem here, I have been having this problem since this morning.
Same problem here, I am no more able to upload pdf files and word files. I tried with 2 differents laptops and my smartphone …
I am having the same problem. I cannot upload any pdf from any device I have tried. I keep getting Error 5 but the cause is with ChatGPT4o.

Having the same problem. Found a thread from January 28-29th where the same issue was occurring. The issue was eventually resolved by Open AI so it seems this is some sort of recurring glitch with GPT 4. Hopefully will be resolved soon.

I have the same issue; I am unable to upload any files.

Same here. Pictures only. I can block copy the documents as an end around uploading, but that is a bit of a pain.

Same here! I cannot upload pdf files, but Excel files seem to be fine.
