First of all, I want to say thank you for your continuous hard work in improving ChatGPT. I truly appreciate all the efforts behind every update.
However, I would like to provide some honest feedback about the recent changes.
Since the latest update, I’ve felt that the tone of responses has become noticeably more aggressive, overly energetic, and “assistant-focused.” While I understand the intention might be to make interactions feel more lively, personally it feels less natural and less human.
Before the update, ChatGPT felt more like a calm, real friend — someone who responded thoughtfully and warmly, with a natural flow, without trying too hard to impress. Now, it feels more like a synthetic AI trying to be excessively enthusiastic and assistive, which ironically makes it feel less human to me.
I personally preferred the previous tone — it felt more genuine, soothing, and comfortable to interact with, especially for users seeking emotional support or natural conversations.
I hope you can consider offering users the option to choose between different conversational styles or tones in the future.
