Dear OpenAI Team,
I would like to share some feedback regarding the Advanced Voice Mode based on my recent experience. I encountered several inconveniences that significantly affected usability, and I hope these can be improved in the future.
- Inability to switch to Advanced Voice Mode within existing text conversations.
I often have important, ongoing conversations in text mode, but when I want to seamlessly switch to Advanced Voice Mode, this is not possible.
Since Advanced Voice Mode is only available in a new conversation, the existing context and conversation history are lost.
Please allow the option to switch directly to Advanced Voice Mode from an existing text conversation.
- No file upload or analysis functionality in Advanced Voice Mode.
During voice conversations, I often need to refer to or analyze files on the fly, but this feature is currently unavailable in voice mode.
It would be very helpful if file upload and file analysis could also be supported within Advanced Voice Mode.
- Loss of memory continuity when switching between text and voice modes.
Important memory updates made in text conversations are not always fully reflected when starting a new conversation in Advanced Voice Mode.
Since users often continue discussions on the same topic across different modes, losing context when switching modes significantly disrupts the experience.
Ensuring smoother memory continuity across text and voice modes would greatly improve usability.
In summary, I would like to request the following improvements:
Enable switching to Advanced Voice Mode within existing text conversations.
Add file upload and analysis functionality to Advanced Voice Mode.
Enhance memory continuity between text and voice modes to maintain conversation flow.
I believe these enhancements would greatly benefit users like myself who rely on ChatGPT for long-term, ongoing conversations.
I would greatly appreciate your attention and consideration for these requests.
Thank you very much!
