Feature Suggestion - Search & Topic Tagging for Long Conversations

As a regular ChatGPT user, I noticed that conversations naturally jump between topics—like coding, AI philosophy, emotional support, or random thoughts—all in a single session.

However, it’s hard to find important answers or missed parts afterward. Scrolling manually is tiring, especially in deep or long conversations.

Feature Request:

  1. Add a Search Bar / Ctrl + F option to search inside the conversation.

  2. Add auto-topic detection and tagging (example: Python Tips, Emotional Talk, AI Ideas).

  3. Allow user-defined conversation names to organize and recall sessions easily.

Apps like WhatsApp or Slack offer search features because real human conversations jump around. ChatGPT needs this to feel like a true assistant built around real communication flow.

This change would make ChatGPT smarter, friendlier, and more usable—especially for users like me who engage in meaningful, multi-topic chats.
