I’ve been using ChatGPT for a while now and appreciate how intuitive and user-friendly it is. However, I think a small suggestion could improve the experience even further: adding the ability to scroll through conversations using arrow keys (up/down).
When navigating through long threads, I have to rely on using my mouse or trackpad. While this works, enabling keyboard navigation with arrow keys would make it much easier and faster to scroll, especially for those who prefer keyboard shortcuts or have accessibility needs.
Here’s why I think this feature would be valuable:
- Improved Accessibility: Keyboard navigation is essential for users with limited mobility or those using assistive devices.
- Intuitive Design: Many web interfaces already allow arrow-key scrolling, so this would align with user expectations.
- Productivity: Users switching between keyboard and mouse lose time, especially during long, detailed conversations.
