Feature requests for managing chats

I’ve been thinking about ways to improve chat and project management in ChatGPT. Here are some features I’d love to see:

  1. Sort by Creation Time – Add an option to sort chats by when they were created, not just last edit.
  2. Folders for Chats/Projects – Let us group chats or projects into folders for easier organization.
  3. Bulk Actions – Features like bulk moving, archiving, or organizing chats would save so much time.
  4. Sort in Projects – Add sorting options within projects (e.g., by creation time, last edit, alphabetical).
  5. Search in Projects – A search function within projects would make navigation so much smoother.
  6. Project-Specific Memory – Instead of shared memory across all chats, having memory specific to individual projects would be a game-changer for focused work.

I would really love to be able to search inside a project, and to sort chats inside a project (only order available is when the chat was added to the project, in descending order). Pre-defined sorting strategies are fine, but just being able to reorganize by drag-and-drop would already be amazing.

All of your ideas are great, I’m just listing the two that mostly impact my work every day since I’ve started using the Projects feature.
