It would be great to see UTF-8 support with the API. I’d like to work on some problems in Ancient Greek, and I’m sure there are others who would like the same for other languages with specific alphabets. (e.g. this thread).

I also am having terrible problems with UTF-8 in the API - there are lots of little corruptions where it looks like incorrectly encoded characters are in the replies. Does anyone have any information how to properly decode stuff coming back from the API calls?
