I often intentionally work across many ChatGPT conversations at once. During these sessions, I repeatedly receive:

> “Too many requests. We’ve temporarily limited access to your conversations to protect your data.”

The protection makes sense as a default, but there is currently no quick way to confirm that the activity is intentional.

Please add a temporary **Trusted High-Activity Mode**.

The user could verify with one of several quick methods:

- an optional separate ChatGPT PIN;

- device biometrics or device PIN;

- a passkey;

- approval from another trusted device.

A separate PIN would be useful when someone has access to an already unlocked, signed-in computer but should not be able to authorize intensive account activity.

Once verified, the user could authorize heavier conversation activity for a limited period, such as 30 or 60 minutes. The mode should be visibly active, cancellable, and expire automatically.

This should not bypass hard plan, capacity, or infrastructure limits. Instead:

- If the restriction is caused by suspected unauthorized activity, verification could allow a higher conversation-access threshold for that session.

- If it is actually a system rate limit, ChatGPT should say that plainly and provide an estimated retry time rather than describing it as data protection.

I am not requesting unlimited usage or removal of security protections. I am asking for a controlled way for the account owner to confirm:

> “Yes, this unusually high activity is intentional, and it is coming from me.”

This would preserve protection by default while giving users reasonable control over legitimate high-volume workflows.
