Please show the exact expiration time, including the time zone, when a ChatGPT Plus or other paid ChatGPT subscription is scheduled to end.
Currently, a subscription may show only an expiration date. For example, Google Play may display:
“Expired on Sep 16, 2026”
without showing the actual time of day the subscription ended.
This makes it difficult for users to know exactly how long their paid access remains available on the final day of a subscription.
It would be helpful if ChatGPT’s subscription/account information displayed something like:
“Subscription ends Sep 16, 2026 at 7:42 PM EDT”
or:
“Access available until Sep 16, 2026, 7:42 PM local time.”
Ideally, this should include:
• Exact expiration date
• Exact expiration time
• Time zone
• Whether the subscription is active, canceled but still usable, or fully expired
• The exact time paid features will stop being available
For subscriptions purchased through third-party billing platforms such as Google Play or the Apple App Store, ChatGPT could display the precise expiration information whenever that information is available from the billing provider.
This would make subscription status much clearer and eliminate uncertainty about when paid access actually ends.
