I would like to request a feature that allows users to group multiple chats into relevant categories. This would be particularly useful for organizing chats related to different projects, troubleshooting coding issues, or any other subject matter that spans over long periods.
The feature could include:
- Grouping Chats: The ability to create groups for related chats, making it easier to access past conversations on the same topic.
- Sub-Groups: Within each group, the option to create sub-groups for further organization.
- Inter-Chat Group / Sub-Chat Group Linking: The ability to link related groups or sub-groups together for seamless navigation between connected topics. Reference for the other chat groups / sub / chat.
- Chat/group/subgroup: Pinning features too.
This feature would be invaluable for users who manage various long-term projects, helping them quickly locate and reference past chats.
Is anyone at OpenAI currently working on a feature like this in the GUI? This would greatly enhance the user experience.
