## Feature Request: Folders / Parent Groups for ChatGPT Projects

I use ChatGPT Projects to organize different areas of my work and studies.

For example, I have separate Projects for university courses such as:

- Machine Learning

- Deep Learning

- Cybersecurity

I would like to group these Projects under a parent folder such as **“University”** , while keeping each course as its own independent Project.

Ideally, the sidebar could support a structure like:

University
├── Machine Learning
├── Deep Learning
└── Cybersecurity

Research
├── UAV Wildfire Detection
└── NLP / LLM Research

Software Projects
├── Study Assistant
└── Other Projects

This would only need to be an organizational layer. The Projects could still retain their own files, instructions, memory/context, and chats independently.

As the number of Projects grows, the current flat Projects list becomes difficult to organize. Parent folders, Project groups, or nested Projects would make the sidebar much easier to manage.

A simple drag-and-drop folder system would already solve this very well.
