I would like to propose a feature that I believe would greatly enhance the user experience in ChatGPT: a Folder System for organizing conversations.
Currently, users engage in a variety of discussions, ranging from personal inquiries to work-related tasks. As the number of interactions grows, it becomes challenging to keep track of specific conversations. Implementing a folder system would allow users to categorize and organize their chats into different folders, making it easier to revisit and manage past discussions.
This feature could improve productivity and usability, especially for users who handle multiple projects or use ChatGPT for both professional and personal purposes. Users would benefit from being able to create custom folders (e.g., “Work”, “Personal”, “Research”), label chats, and even use subfolders for further organization.
Thank you for considering this idea. I believe it would significantly streamline the experience for users who rely on ChatGPT for various tasks.
