I would really like to see a much better “Recent Chats” view in ChatGPT.
At minimum, I’d like the option to display every chat I’ve had in strict chronological order for the last X days — for example, the last 3, 7, 14, or 30 days.
The current recent-chat list makes it too easy to lose track of conversations, especially for people who use ChatGPT frequently across many different topics and projects.
A useful version would include:
-
A true chronological list of all chats
-
The date and time of each conversation
-
A selectable time range such as “Last 7 days,” “Last 30 days,” etc.
-
No unexplained omission or reordering of conversations
-
Ideally, filters for Project, topic, or keyword
For heavy users, ChatGPT is increasingly becoming a working archive of conversations. Being able to simply answer the question, “Show me every conversation I had over the last week, in order” would be extremely useful.
