Hello OpenAI/Codex team,

When many projects accumulate in the Codex desktop app on macOS, the Projects section becomes visually dense and difficult to scan. I would like to request a native organization option:

- Track recent and frequent project usage locally.
- Sort projects by usage frequency, keeping frequently used projects at the top and rarely used projects toward the bottom.
- Apply consistent color tiers to project names or markers: a stronger color for frequently used projects, a medium color for occasional projects, and a lighter color for rarely used projects.
- Allow users to manually override or disable the colors.
- Support dark mode and accessibility; color should not be the only signal.
- Avoid analyzing project content; usage metadata alone should be sufficient.

This would make a large project list much easier to navigate without changing project names or structure. Please consider adding it to a future Codex desktop update.

Thank you.
