Feature Request: “Choose Who Answers Me” — Personalized AI Video Answers

:light_bulb: My Idea

I would like to suggest a new ChatGPT feature called “Choose Who Answers Me.”

Today, ChatGPT can provide answers mainly through text, voice, images, and documents. My idea is to take personalization one step further by allowing users to choose who visually presents the AI-generated answer.

For example, I personally admire Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam. I would like to have an option in my ChatGPT settings where I can choose a suitable, authorized Kalam-inspired educational avatar as my preferred presenter.

When I ask a question, ChatGPT would generate the answer using its normal AI capabilities, but present that answer through the selected animated/avatar presenter in a short video.

Example

User asks:

“How can I become successful in life?”

ChatGPT:

Generates the appropriate answer.

Selected presenter:

A licensed or clearly AI-generated Kalam-inspired educational avatar.

Output:

A personalized animated video explaining the answer in the user’s preferred language and style.

:gear: Possible User Settings

Users could customize:

Who answers me? — Select an available avatar/presenter

Language — Tamil, English, Hindi, etc.

Voice

Video or text

Short / detailed answer

Educational / motivational / professional style

Avatar animation style

Default presenter — Save the selected presenter for future conversations

This could become a powerful personalization feature:

ChatGPT intelligence + User’s preferred presenter + Voice + Animation + Language = Personalized AI experience

:glowing_star: Why I Think This Could Improve ChatGPT

This feature could make ChatGPT more:

Personal

Engaging

User-friendly

Educational

Motivational

Accessible to children and people who prefer visual learning

Emotionally engaging without changing the underlying AI intelligence

For example, students could choose an educational science avatar, business users could choose a professional mentor-style avatar, and children could use friendly animated characters.

🛡️ Safety and Rights

I understand that using the real face or voice of a real person creates important consent, identity, copyright, publicity-rights, and safety concerns.

Therefore, I suggest that the feature should use:

Authorized/licensed personalities

Consenting real-person avatars

Clearly AI-generated fictional avatars

“Inspired-by” characters where legally appropriate

Clear disclosure that the presenter is AI-generated

The system should not make it appear that a real person actually gave the answer when they did not.

:rocket: Future Possibility

Eventually, users could create their own personalized AI presenter or choose from an official marketplace/library of authorized presenters.

For example:

“Who should answer me?”

→ Educational

→ Motivational

→ Business

→ Historical

→ Fictional

→ Custom Avatar

This could make ChatGPT feel less like simply asking a chatbot a question and more like having a personal AI mentor/presenter.

:folded_hands: Why I Am Sharing This

I am sharing this idea because I genuinely want ChatGPT to become more personalized and user-friendly.

I am not primarily looking for financial compensation. If an idea like this is ever useful to the product team, even a small form of recognition or acknowledgement of the user’s contribution would be highly motivating.

Thank you for considering this feature request.
