I would like to request that ChatGPT Record mode be made available through the iOS and iPadOS apps, particularly for ChatGPT Business, Enterprise, Edu, and other paid users.
I use ChatGPT Business as part of my administrative work, including preparing meeting transcripts, summaries, action items, and formal minutes. Record mode would be extremely useful, but limiting it to the macOS desktop app excludes Windows-based organizations like ours.
Offering Record mode on iPhone and iPad would provide a practical solution for recording in-person meetings. A mobile device can be placed centrally in a meeting room without requiring organizations to purchase or switch to Mac computers. This would make the feature far more accessible to administrative professionals, small organizations, boards, committees, and teams that primarily use Windows and Microsoft 365.
I understand that recording must be handled responsibly and with the appropriate consent. However, these requirements apply regardless of the device being used and could be clearly incorporated into the iOS recording experience.
Please consider prioritizing Record mode for iOS and iPadOS, at minimum for Business and higher-tier paid workspaces. If there is already a planned timeline for expanding Record mode beyond macOS, it would be helpful if OpenAI could share that information publicly.
