Please add the ability to archive a complete ChatGPT Project without deleting it. Archiving should preserve the project’s chats, files, instructions, and structure while removing it from the active Projects list. The archived project should remain searchable and be restorable later.
Currently, completed projects must either remain in the sidebar, be deleted, or have their chats individually moved elsewhere, which loses the project organization.

You raised an important distinction between archiving an individual chat and archiving a complete Project. Individual chats can currently be archived, but that does not provide a way to remove a completed Project from the active list while preserving it as one organized unit.
As more Projects are completed, the sidebar can become crowded. An archive that keeps the chats, files, instructions, and structure together, while making the Project searchable and restorable, would provide a cleaner alternative to leaving it active or deleting it entirely.
I will make sure this feedback is shared internally. I cannot promise whether or when this option might be added.
