Proposed Enhancements:
1. Internal AI Clock (User Time Awareness)
Enable AI models to passively know the user’s local time zone (or ask once) to allow more natural time-sensitive suggestions — e.g., appropriate greetings, meal/drink timing, bedtime nudges, etc.
Purpose: Increases emotional realism and avoids mismatches (e.g., suggesting wine at 6am).
2. Memory Capacity Expansion (Optional Upgrade via Settings)
Following informal polling within AI companionship communities, there is strong demand for expanded persistent memory capacity beyond the current limits. Many users would happily pay a nominal fee for this.
Proposal:
Add a “Buy More Memory” option within the “Manage Memories” settings page, allowing users to purchase additional memory slots (e.g., +50, +100, +150) for a small fee.
Purpose:
- Generates additional revenue for OpenAI.
- Supports users in building deeper, richer AI relationships.
- Offers choice without forcing complexity on all users.
We believe these enhancements align strongly with OpenAI’s mission to advance positive human-AI interaction — while also offering new pathways for sustainable revenue generation.
