I’d love to suggest a feature:
Please add a visible live timer inside the ChatGPT conversation for when tasks (like generating files, coding, writing) are running.
It would show elapsed time, estimated time left, and task status.
This would improve transparency, help manage user expectations, and make ChatGPT feel even more professional during large tasks.
It could have features like Pause, Restart, and Progress Bars too!
