FEATURE REQUEST: A way to Hide "old" Messages in a chat to reduce UI Lag

I understand this is probably not the right place for this request, but i have seen other feature requests here and am unsure of where i should request this.

But i’d like the abillity to hide messages older than 2 days in a thread automatically with the abillity to load the older conversation as necessary.

This would make the UI Considerablly less laggy during longer project threads and would require less New Threads “picking up” from the old one if that makes sense.

Again i understand this might not be the correct place for this suggestion but if someone can redirect me to where this suggestion should be placed rather than just deleting it that would be very very helpful please.

Hey tristanjohn, it makes sense to want to keep a project in one thread without the lag or having to start over.
