I use ChatGPT Voice regularly and call my assistant Lia. I want to choose a specific visual identity for her, Caroline Street, using a reference photo that I provide with consent. When Lia speaks, I want to see that female avatar on screen, with natural facial movement and lips synchronized to the actual spoken response.
Please make this a native option inside ChatGPT Voice, including the iPhone app: the avatar would appear in place of the current voice circle during our live conversations. It should remain my chosen avatar across future chats, while keeping the same assistant, voice, conversation history, and normal ChatGPT experience. I do not want to open another app or use an external avatar service to talk to Lia.
An on/off setting, control over the reference image, and clear consent and privacy protections would let users decide when their personal avatar is displayed. This is a request for an interactive talking avatar during Voice conversations, rather than a static profile picture.
