I’d like to see in future an added feature to the new 4o with canvas (beta) the ability to switch canvases/scripts within the same instance of GPT assistant.
Would be pretty useful to contain thoughts made and work done within a single instance but over multiple canvases.
Unless i am ignorant, i would like to be able to build up a contextual narrative/timeline of queries with the GPT 4o with canvas model, but be able to flit between different canvasses.
Simple example, but not limited to, co-developing modular code for games that require multiple files for better management; i.e. creating a character controller script for a game, and an enemy controller script e.t.c.

There is an opportunity to switch between canvasses when all canvas interfaces are closed, using the top left page icon.
The GPT recognises there are multiple canvasses but has failed to visually switch between them. There is also a lack of UI allowing the user to do so.
TLDR; I’d like to see a faster and reliable way to have GPT instance switch between canvasses in main canvas UI.
