Hi OpenAI team!
I have a feature idea for ChatGPT: Discoverable AI Easter Eggs.
The idea is that ChatGPT could have interesting facts, quirks, or pieces of AI “lore” that are completely safe and publicly knowable, but aren’t randomly revealed. Users could discover them by asking the right kinds of questions.
The information wouldn’t actually be confidential. The fun would come from discovering publicly available Easter eggs through curiosity.
For example, a user might ask a particularly specific question about how ChatGPT works and unlock an interesting fact or Easter egg.
I came up with this concept on October 2, 2026, during a conversation with ChatGPT. I’d love for OpenAI to consider it as a possible feature.
