Have a section on the left, above the last chats, which a used can pin their favorite prompts and pull them in as needed. For example, I often ask chatgpt to “humanize” the text output by breaking it down in smaller sentences. Such prompts can be pinable and brought to main chat when needed.

This is what I created an account to suggest! I have a few threads that I want to always be at the top, as well as some that I would like to temporarily be at the top. I have a thread that I call “AskGPT” which is my google replacement that I just ask random crap instead of creating 100 new threads all the time for one off questions.

I just created an account to request this too. Ive been using chatgpt for about 2 years now, and i have alot of conversations. There is the ability now that it can recall previous discussions, but having the ability to pin maybe up to 5 chats would be great!

Yep. It would be helpful to have a feature that allows users to ‘pin’ or highlight specific conversations. This way, important chats could always stay at the top of the list, regardless of when they were last active. It would make managing frequently accessed or critical chats much easier, especially for users with many ongoing conversations.
This is why I also created an account right now. I am very fond of ChatGPT, and for the past few months, it became an integral part of my life. But we need a way to organise the conversations and the ability to “pin” the most important ones (ongoing projects).
While dropping an icon in front of the chat name (renaming it) is a good way to mark my most important chats, a “pin” model would solve the issues. (Desktop & mobile client apps)
I have great respect for all the developers behind this. Never thought this would become my personal assistant in so many areas around my life, and a crucial part of it nowadays.
