Small .txt and .docx and .json uploads fail across both ChatGPT desktop app and web app. A UTF-8 test.txt file containing only “text” hangs around 75% and sometimes shows a red “Unknown error.” .png uploads work normally. I tried multiple file names and contents. This does not appear to be file size, token count, encoding, browser, or desktop-app specific.
I should also state I’m a Plus user in expert mode. This problem started around 19:30 EST and is still continuing now at 21:51 EST. I didn’t experience any problems earlier today and haven’t changed any settings or anything else in the desktop app from when it was working until now.
We have observed the same (404 No vector store found) issues since 7:40 pm today.
Thank you for the link. GPT gave me a different link that wasn’t as targeted. I’m also able to upload the previously mentioned file types again.
