As someone deeply invested in the potential of AI, particularly in the realm of smart home projects, I’ve been impressed with the Speaking to You feature available on Android devices. However, I’ve noticed a significant gap in similar functionality for the Windows platform. Given the sheer number of Windows desktop users, I believe there’s a huge opportunity to expand voice interaction capabilities to this platform.
Developing this for Windows 10 would allow a broader range of users—many of whom rely on their desktops for work and personal projects—to benefit from these advanced voice features. This is particularly important for developers and business leaders like myself, who are working on integrating AI into more robust, stationary environments, such as smart home systems, that often depend on desktop computers.
I’d love to hear any thoughts or plans you may have regarding extending this functionality to Windows and would be more than willing to provide feedback or participate in any testing for this feature. There’s a real need for cross-platform consistency, and I believe OpenAI can lead the way in making AI more accessible across all device types.
